Withdrawal

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

If the Purchaser is a Consumer and the Sale is concluded through a distance contract, the Consumer shall have the right to withdraw from the Sale within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of conclusion of the Sale. The withdrawal period shall expire after fourteen (14) days from the day on which the Consumer or a third party, other than the carrier and indicated by the Consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the right to withdraw shall not apply to the supply of digital goods or digital download products if the performance (including, but not limited to, downloading or streaming) has begun with the Consumer’s prior express consent and acknowledgment that they thereby lose their right to withdraw.

In addition, the Consumer shall be entitled to exercise the right to withdraw before acquiring physical possession of the goods. Where multiple goods ordered by the Consumer in a single order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period shall expire after fourteen (14) days from the day on which the Consumer acquires physical possession of each of such goods.

For the purposes of exercising the right to withdraw from the Sale, the Consumer must inform the Seller by email to shop@codexedition.com or by a declaration, clearly stating their full name and order number, clearly expressing their intention to withdraw and including the identification of the goods concerned.

The Consumer shall return the goods within fourteen (14) days after the notification of the use of their right of withdrawal. The Seller shall reimburse the Consumer upon receipt of the returned goods for all sums paid for the order, less any return costs, which shall remain the sole responsibility of the Consumer.

The Consumer shall only be liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling them in a manner other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.
